On Wednesday we went up to the Lakes District. It is beautiful countryside with lakes and mountains all around. We went to see Mrs. Potter's House. She wrote the children's book of Peter Rabbit. A lot of her books she has drawn the pictures from her house, so it was neat to compare the pictures in the book with the house.
