We had Brad's family over for Ellie's actual birthday. Ellie chose the menu and enjoyed her cake. She got hermit crabs from Grampa and Gramma. She was REALLY excited. We will see how this goes. Papa and Nanny sent her some flowers and a balloon. She was happy to see that when she got home from school. Happy Birthday Ellie!!!! (we have one more party to go! craziness)

Hermit crabs! They should be easy to care for, right! I might be able to handle something like that. What do they eat?
Speaking of eating...I was checking out the Ciao Down site and found a recipe I want to try that you posted. It's the Fruit Cocktail Cake. I have a question, though...in the topping, is it evaporated milk or sweetened condensed milk? I'm guessing evaporated milk, but I wasn't sure.
We're heading to GA the first part of April. Wish you were still down there so we could visit with you, too! I think Emily and Lauren would love to meet Ellie and Ava.
