I have soooo many projects that I would like to get done around here. Most of them closets and cabinets cleaned out. I have so much STUFF that I don't use and it is just wasting space. We will see what I am able to clean out!:) I don't really like extra things hanging around. I am pretty good at pitching! So that is the plan for today.:) Just maybe we can put the deck furniture back out!
Unrelated: We were given tickets to see the Celtic Women last night and took the girls. They really loved seeing the show. Ellie said "I thought it might be boring but I really liked all the fog", she enjoyed the stage displays. Brad and I got to go last year so it was neat to see the girls enjoy them performing.

Enough is Enough!!!!
Tamara, I wish I was planting a garden!!!! This is a picture of our weather the day before spring. I am ready for some sunshine!!!! For me, being from the south, I have a had time with the springtime here in New England. Spring is suppose to be pretty and warm. Now I am complaining but if you talk to me any other time of the year it really is pretty here in New England. I LOVE LOVE the fall here, Summertime is pleasant, and the winter is pretty and fun. BUT.....Springtime always gets me in a funk. I just have to remember how green the grass will be and sitting in the sun at 80 degrees is soooo nice. The heat down home is harsh. I do love it here and I must think of all the positives. So have a good day and smile:)!!! There is so much to be thankful for: family, friends, good health, freedom and on and on we could go....

This recipe is soooo yummy!!!!
I made this on Sunday and they were so good...easy and quick
Apple Dumplings
2 Granny Smith apples
2 cans crescent rolls
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla
cinnamon
1 small can Mountain Dew (8 oz.)
Peel and core apples. Cut apples into 8 slices each. Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll. Place in a 9 x 13 buttered pan. Melt butter, then add sugar and barely stir. Add vanilla, stir, and pour over apples. Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream, and spoon some of the sweet sauces from the pan over the top.
Then go to confession. Quickly.

They are growing up!!!
I seem to focus on what my girls don't do but... I was just thinking of how much they are helping around the house. It seems that in the last month they are changing in their maturity. Ellie decided this week that she would start to make her lunches for school and pack her bag for school. Wow what a help that was the next morning. She even cleaned up the kitchen when she was done. The other night after supper she asked if she could clean the supper dishes!!! Then the other night when I went to her room to put her to bed she said, "Mom, I have to pick up my room first" and she did get it cleaned up quickly. Ava loves to help with laundry. She puts the clothes into the dryer, takes them out of the dryer, and sorts them into piles. She also helps with loading and unloading the dishwasher. Ava is our dog helper. She sends them outside, calls them back, and feeds them for me. I am thankful for their help. I sent a note in Ellie's lunch bag thanking her for her help. She told me last night, "Mom, thanks for the note and you are welcome". It just warms your heart.:)

Finally!!!
I got all of my Ga post up!!!! We have been busy and not home for very long. We got home last Thur. night and Fri. morning headed to NY for an indoor water park. This was our second year going to the water park and everyone had tons of fun. My girls will tell you that I was a wimp. It was just to cold walking around in a wet bathing suit. Of course, they weren't cold as they had blue lips!!:) I do think it was warmer last year. Last year we had sun shining thorough the windows but this year it was snowing!!! We met up with six other families and enjoyed our time together as always! Thanks to Sandy for organizing the weekend! I will post pictures later as I have TONS to do today and have spent WAY to much time on the computer this morning. You can see some pictures on Jody and Shelly's blogs.--Have a great Day!!!!
Georgia---games and food!!!
While I was in Ga we had a get-together with family and friends. I was fun to see everyone again and remember our times together when we were all growing up together. A few have been added!!! Kind of neat to see them all get to know each other.
