Fall...

Fall is fast approaching here in New Hampshire. I noticed some red leaves today on the trees!!! I actually look forward to the fall season. It is my favorite time of year here in New England. It is a great time for visitors! (hint) This last week the girls and I went out to Altamont conv. for the whole time and Brad joined us on the weekend. The Howes were generous to have us stay with them. Always good times together. I will have to post pictures later. That is the happening here. We are enjoying our last week of summer vacation before school starts next Wednesday. Take Care----

Our furry friends...
We love our dogs! Missy is growing and is now four pounds. She was two pounds when we got her. Tucket and Missy are now the best of friends. I really didn't know if that would ever happen. It keeps our house lively.

Nantucket
Brad and I just celebrated our tenth year anniversary. We had honeymooned in Nantucket so we went back for our tenth. We enjoyed a long weekend relaxing and shopping. The Boston Pops with Natalie Cole were there performing on the beach. We were able to get tickets so that was neat to see. We stayed at a really neat inn called The Veranda House. Really quaint and simple. They would serve hot cookies and tea in the afternoon. A really neat touch and of course breakfast. We enjoyed our time and always look forward to going to Nantucket.

Papa and Nanny
We had a week visit from Papa and Nanny! Last Thursday we went to Boston shopping and decided to stay for the night. The girls had so much fun walking around the city and of course we enjoyed all the shopping. Dad flew into Boston that night so he meet us at the hotel and on Friday we went on a Duck tour. A perfect way to get a tour of Boston. We came home on Friday and had workday on Sat. We had Brad's family on Sunday and the Whites for ice cream after gospel meeting. Monday was a day by the the pool and of course softball in the evening. Yesterday we went over to Portsmouth for the day and evening. Alot of fun and busy days. We are going to miss them!

A day of fun!
We had one more day of fun with the Pococks. We started the day off having breakfast at Parkers Maple barn and then we went to play mini golf, go-carts, and batting cages. It was fun but HOT!!! The girls just can not handle the heat. Soooo they didn't make it through the mini golf course. They needed shade----MOM, I am soooo hot, I need a drink!!! That is my New England girls for you. I just thrive for the heat. I am not complaining I will save it for next March when it isn't warming up yet but I am ready for spring. We came home to grill out for supper and then the guys were going to play pick up soccor but it was canceled this week. A bummer for the guys, they were so looking forward to soccor. The girls got to go around the track with their scooters so they were happy. Anyway, the Pococks have left and now we get ready for a visit from my parents!

July 4th!!!
White Mountains
Brad's good friend William, from England and his wife, Julie are here visiting us this week. Yesterday we went up to the White Mountains to the Clark's trained bears, up the Cannon Mt. on the tram, and to see the Basin. We stopped to shop at the outlets in Tilton and then went to Manchester for supper. On our way home from supper we were able to see the Manchester fireworks. It was a full eventful day. I got to see a little of NH that I haven't seen before.
